Stefan Caltia was born on May 15th 1942. Studies: Art School in Timisoara, under the guidance of professor Julius Podlipny.. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest, together with the teacher Corneliu Baba. Since 1994 he has been a teacher at the Art University in Bucharest, painting department.
